Steps to Access Your Emails Remotely
To view your emails remotely, simply follow these steps:
- Open your preferred web browser, either Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or any other browser.
- In the web browser’s address bar, type in the following address: “https://webmail.yourdomainname.TLD”. TLD being whatever domain extension you have for your domain name i.e., .com, .net. .info, etc..
NOTE: Ensure you replace “yourdomainname” with your actual domain name. For example, if your domain is “www.your-domain-name.TLD”, the remote email URL will be “https://webmail.your-domain-name.TLD.”. - Keep your Username and Password handy. You will need to enter them when prompted to log in to your webmail account.
Requesting a Password Reset
If you are accessing the webmail server from office or home and have misplaced your Password, you can contact Hosted.com’s Support Team to request a Password Reset. However, you will have to verify your ownership of the account before they do so.
This option is available only when accessing the webmail server from the original registered computer’s IP address, unfortunately should you be accessing your emails remotely from a different IP address, we will be unable to assist. Our high security protocols are there to ensure your and our online safety.
Receiving Duplicate Emails
You may need to request a Password reset if you are experiencing issues like receiving duplicate emails or encountering difficulties downloading a large email.
If you are using Microsoft Outlook as your email client, you can follow similar steps to the above using the Outlook Web App.
