The built-in Blog feature allows you to create, manage, and style your posts directly within the Website Builder environment, giving you complete control over how your content looks and functions. From layout selection to post formatting and visual enhancements, every aspect of your blog can be tailored to align with your brand.
This makes it an ideal solution for businesses, creators, and beginners who want a professional-looking blog without having coding knowledge, while still maintaining the flexibility to grow and evolve their content strategy over time.

How to Add a Blog Widget
Before you begin, ensure your Hosted.com® Site Builder plan is active.
1. Login to your Hosted.com® Client Area.
2. Navigate to Manage Services.
3. Select Website Builder from the left-hand menu.
4. Click Launch Site Builder to open your workspace.
Alternative method:
1. Go to your hosting service under Manage Services.
2. Click Manage next to your domain.
3. Select Website Builder from the Quick Access options.
5. From the main toolbar, drag and drop the Blog element onto your page.
6. Choose your preferred blog layout from the available design options.
7. Click on the Blog section and select New Blog Post from the right-hand toolbar.
8. Add your post details, including:
- Featured image.
- Title.
- Date and time.
- Category.
- Publication status.
9. Enter your blog content in the text editor.
Once your content is added, your blog post will automatically appear in the blog section on your website.
Customizing Your Blog
You can easily personalize your blog to match your website’s design and branding:
- Select the blog Gallery section.
- Open the Pictures settings in the right-hand toolbar.
- Add or edit image titles, links, addresses, and descriptions.
- Select the Gallery section.
- Click Background in the toolbar,
- Choose your preferred color and adjust opacity for a polished look.
Fine-tune how your blog previews appear by adjusting:
- Width, height, and padding.
- Alignment.
- Animation effects for default and hover states.
To improve navigation and usability:
- Enable the text search filter option.
- Add a search bar and filtering functionality for your blog posts.
Control how captions appear:
- Choose display styles.
- Set background colors.
- Customize font and text styling.
Enhance user experience with motion:
- Select animation effects, direction, duration, and delay.
To customize how dates appear on your blog posts:
- Select Listing in the right-hand toolbar.
- Locate Date format settings.
- Choose your preferred format using variables (year, month, day, time).
- Apply and close the settings.
This allows you to display dates in formats such as:
- “06 November 2025”.
- “2025/11/06 14:00”.

Login to Hosted.com® Account
1. Go to the Hosted.com® website Account Login page.
2. Enter your Email and Password and click the Sign In button.
3. You will see the Hosted.com® Dashboard, displaying the Manage Account menu on the left and your Account Information, Account Overview and Open Support Tickets on the right.

4. Click on Manage Services to view the sub-dropdown menu and select the hosting package for the domain you want to work with – in our example we are using WordPress Hosting.
5. Click the Manage button to the right of the domain name you want to access.
6. The display will now show Product Information, Quick Manage, Resource Usage and Site Statistics for that domain name.
7. Under Product Information, scroll down to Control Panel, which will display cPanel to the right, and click on the Login button.
