If your recent invoice that was not paid because of new credit card details that has changed or expired, you can quickly update your payment method and manually pay any outstanding invoices from your client area.

Hosted.com® provides full control over your billing settings, including updating credit card information and paying overdue invoices securely.

How to Update New Credit Card Details

1. Login to your Hosted.com® account.

2. From the dashboard, click Billing in the top navigation.

3. Select Add Funds from the dropdown.

4. Enter the amount you want to add, choose your payment method, and click Add Funds.

How to Pay an Unpaid Invoice

1. Return to Billing and click My Invoices.

2. Find the unpaid invoice marked as Unpaid or Overdue.

3. Click the Invoice Number to open it.

4. If prompted, select your new credit card from the Payment Method dropdown.

5. Click Pay Now to process the payment securely.

Additional Information

  • Auto-renewals: If you have services such as domains or hosting set to auto-renew, ensure your new card is set as the default payment method.
  • Payment confirmation: Once payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email showing the updated invoice status.
  • Service reactivation: If your services were suspended due to non-payment, they will automatically reactivate once payment is received and confirmed.
  • Remove old cards: For security reasons, delete expired or unused credit cards under Payment Methods to keep your account secure and organized.
  • Recurring billing: If auto-pay is enabled, all future payments will use your updated credit card.
  • Card verification: Some banks may require an additional verification step, such as a one-time passcode, before your payment is processed successfully.
  • Invoice history: You can view past and current invoices at any time under My Invoices to ensure your account is updated.
  • Multiple payment options: If your new card is not accepted, you can use alternative payment methods such as PayPal or a different credit card.
  • Failed payments: If payment fails after updating your details, contact Hosted.com® Billing Support for assistance in resolving the issue.
