1: Registering Your Domain Name
The first step before you can host a website is giving it an address so your customers can find it. This address is called a domain name, and you need to register it. Here’s how:
To begin the Domain Registration process, use our Domain Name Search to check its availability with your chosen TLD (Top Level Domain).
Once you’ve confirmed your chosen domain is available, add it to your cart.
Next, choose your registration period (we offer from 1-10 years) and click the Checkout button.
Create a new Hosted.com account or log in to your existing one.
Fill in your registrant information in the form provided. This includes your name, business name, email, address, phone number, etc., and submit the form.
All that’s left is to complete payment using our safe and secure payment gateway to complete your purchase.
You’ll receive a verification email from us, follow the instructions and the domain is yours!
TIP: When choosing the domain name for your site, make sure it’s easy to spell and remember and relevant to your business and brand.

If the domain you want isn’t available, or you want to see if a specific domain is legitimate, you can find out who owns it using our WHOIS Lookup. Type in the domain name you want to find in the search bar, and it will retrieve the relevant information.
