Caching Plugins:

WordPress.com already has a powerful caching solution in place, designed to scale globally without the need for additional intervention. Therefore, installing another caching plugin will not be effective and could potentially lead to unintended detrimental consequences..

The following plugins can interfere with the existing caching system on your site:

  • Breeze — WordPress Cache Plugin
  • Comet Cache
  • Cache Enabler
  • Fast Velocity Minify
  • Hyper Cache
  • JCH Optimize
  • Performance Lab
  • Powered Cache

  • Redis Object Cache
  • SiteGround Optimizer (known by the slug sg-cachepress)
  • W3 Total Cache

Backup Plugins:

If you are concerned about data loss, you can rely on our daily site backups. You can access them by going to Jetpack → Backups, where you can restore or download a backup of your site from a specific time.

Please note that the following backup plugins are not supported as they can have a negative impact on your site’s performance by using excessive resources:

  • Backup Guard
  • Backup WD
  • BackUpWordPress
  • BackWPup
  • Clone
  • Database Backup for WordPress
  • Duplicator
