Hosted.com® makes it easy to create FTP account directly within cPanel, giving you full control over who can access your files and how they interact with your website.
Managing website files efficiently is essential for maintaining your hosting environment, especially when working with multiple users. FTP accounts provide a secure way to upload, download, and manage files on your server.
Rather than sharing your primary cPanel login details, you can create separate FTP accounts for different users, each with controlled access to specific directories. This approach improves security, enhances collaboration, and ensures that your file structure remains organized.

- Enhanced Security Practices: Using separate FTP accounts significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access. If a single account is compromised, you can revoke access without affecting your entire system.
- Role-Based Access: You can assign different FTP accounts to team members based on their responsibilities, ensuring they only have access to the files they need to perform their tasks.
- Improved Workflow: For teams working on larger projects, multiple FTP accounts allow simultaneous file management without conflicts or accidental overwrites.
