This article will give you guidance on how to setup DMARC records in your cPanel. Setting up DMARC records is crucial for protecting your domain from email spoofing, phishing, and unauthorized use. DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) works alongside SPF and DKIM records to verify that emails sent from your domain are legitimate.

By configuring DMARC on your cPanel Hosting account, you can improve email deliverability, enhance security, and gain insights into how your domain is being used.

Additional Information

  • Prerequisites: Ensure SPF and DKIM records are correctly configured, as DMARC relies on them to validate email authentication.
  • Monitoring: Regularly review reports to identify sources sending email on behalf of your domain and adjust policies if necessary.
  • Security Benefits: DMARC reduces phishing attacks using your domain, improves your brand’s reputation, and helps ensure legitimate emails reach recipients’ inboxes.
  • TTL Updates: DNS changes can take 24 to 48 hours to propagate fully.
