Additional Information:
Completing Your WordPress Installation
Once you have clicked “Install WordPress”, the system will automatically download the latest version of the WordPress platform and create a database for your site with MySQL. MySQL is a Database Management System for WordPress. It organizes and stores all the data on your website. The database holds essential information such as post content, categories, tags users, and custom post types.
The system will also set up the necessary files and directories so you can begin creating your website after the installation is completed.
You will then create an Admin Username and Password to log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
You will be prompted to configure basic settings, such as choosing your site’s language and setting the date and time. It will also ask you to set the site title and tagline for your website.
Click “Install” and the system will complete the installation process.
You can now log in to your WordPress Dashboard using the Admin credentials you set up. From there, you can start building and customizing your site.
You can upload themes to change the look and feel of your website. Themes control the design, layout, and styling which can be further customized by adjusting settings and modifying the header, footer, and other elements.
You can also enhance your site’s functionality by adding plugins and widgets for SEO, security, e-commerce, social media integration, and more.
You can now upload and organize images, videos, and other media and content. WordPress allows you as the site owner to manage roles and permissions for different users. For example, admins, editors, authors, and contributors have varying access levels.
We suggest you set up a staging site to preview your new site before publishing it to ensure everything works properly.
