This guide explains how to verify that your domain connection in Hosted.com® WordPress Hosting account.

WordPress is the software used to build and manage your website, but it does not make your website accessible on the internet by itself. To allow visitors to find and access your website, you need a domain name that points to your web hosting account.

A domain name is your website’s unique online address, such as yourbusiness.com. Instead of asking visitors to remember a numerical IP address, the domain name provides an easy-to-remember web address that browsers use to locate your website.

Hosted.com® offers domain registration alongside WordPress Hosting, making it easy to connect your domain to your website. Once your domain is linked to your hosting account, visitors can access your WordPress website from anywhere in the world.

How to Verify Your Domain Connection

1. Login to your Hosted.com® Client Portal.

2. Navigate to Manage Services and select WordPress Hosting.

3. Locate the WordPress Hosting plan for the website you wish to back up and click Manage.
