This guide explains how to delete a email account on your iPhone safely.
Keeping your email accounts organized across your devices is essential for maintaining efficient and secure communication. Whether you are removing an old account, switching to a new provider, or deleting an email account from your iPhone, it ensures that only the accounts you actively use remain connected.
At Hosted.com®, we make it easy to manage your email across multiple devices. It is crucial to note that removing an email account from your iPhone only affects that specific device, while your email account and data remain secure on the server.

Additional Information
- Removing an email account from your iPhone only deletes it from the device and does not cancel or remove the account from your Hosted.com® hosting plan.
- Any emails stored on the server will remain available and can still be accessed via webmail or other connected devices.
- If your account is set up using IMAP, your emails will remain synchronized with the server and accessible elsewhere.
- If you are using POP, some emails may be stored only on your device, so it is essential you back up important messages before deleting the account.
- Deleting an account will also remove synced contacts, calendars, and notes associated with that email account.
- If you plan to reconfigure the account later, ensure you have your correct login credentials and server settings ready.
- Removing unused accounts can help reduce notifications and improve overall device performance.
